First DevPed Assessment

Initial Diagnosis

Railey Edward Medina, a 3.8 year-old boy was seen by Dr. Ma Paz Irene Bautista because of his Speech Delay. Upon the doctor’s observation, he displays the following;

• Fleeting eye contact

•  No turn to name calling

• Echolalia

• Hyperactivity

• Difficulty on following commands

• Lining of toys

The following domains of development was checked and given equivalent age conterparts.

• Gross Motor Skills      - 3 y/o

• Fine Motor Skills        - 2.2 y/o

• Receptive Language   - 9 to 11 mos.

• Expressive Language  - 1.6 to 1.7 y/o

• Cognitive Skills           -  1.10 y/o

• Personal Social Skills  - 9 mos.

• Adaptive Skills             - 1.3 y/o

The impression was Autistic Disorder.
